LexiCo AS takes privacy seriously. We are committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Norwegian privacy legislation. Here you will find everything about how we handle data, your rights and our procedures.

How we process data

LexiCo AS is the data controller for personal data we collect through our services. We only process data that is necessary to deliver our services, and never more than required.

All data processing takes place on Norwegian servers. We never transfer personal data to countries outside the EEA without adequate protection levels and your consent.

Data minimization We only collect data that is strictly necessary for the purpose. Superfluous data is automatically deleted.
Purpose limitation Data is only used for the stated purpose. We never sell data to third parties or use it for advertising.
Storage limitation Personal data is deleted when the purpose is fulfilled. We have clear procedures for retention and deletion.

Your rights

As a data subject, you have several rights under GDPR. We make it easy for you to exercise these rights.

Right of access You can at any time request access to what personal data we have stored about you, and receive a copy.
Right to erasure You can request that we delete your personal data. We carry out deletion within 30 days unless legal requirements prevent this.
Right to data portability You can receive your data in a machine-readable format, so you can transfer them to another service provider.
Right to object You can object to the processing of your personal data, including profiling and direct marketing.

Technical security measures

We implement technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, distribution or deletion.

Encryption All communication is encrypted with TLS 1.3. Data is stored encrypted with AES-256 on Norwegian servers.
Access control Role-based access control ensures that only authorized personnel have access to personal data.
Logging and auditing All access to personal data is logged. We conduct regular security audits.
